BUFI 315

Business Finance Concepts and Skills

This class was part of the business administration core classes.  From the first to the last day of this class, we moved through some very real examples of “key financial concepts”.  We worked with a financial calculator through the entire class looking at how to compute risk of investments, how to figure out the cost of choices like leasing and auto versus buying and how you choose to spend your money today affects your tomorrow.  this is a class that all students would benefit from!

Following is the UNE Course Description:

An introductory course to key financial concepts and computational skills in finance. Topics covered include financial report analysis, time value of money, risk and return, basics of capital investment, security valuation and interest rate determination.
